Marble Sealing
Marble Sealing will help to prevent oil, dirt and other contaminates from settling deep into the pores of your stone. A high quality penetrating sealer will act as a repellent to staining. Of course no sealer is “bullet-proof”, but can give you that extra time you need to address a potentially problematic spill. An often misunderstood concept is that a sealer will not protect from acidic etches. Unfortunately, regardless of the quality of penetrating sealer used when sealing your marble, an acidic liquid spilled or splashed on the marble surface will create an etch mark or dull spot. In short, marble cleaning is a great way to improve the appearance of your natural stone surfaces, however should not be considered a restorative process.
