Paver Stripping
Paver stripping is the first step in a paver restoration project. Water-based stripping may remove all of the existing sealer or finish on a existing paver installation but more times than not, only the top layer is removed, potentially leaving sealed in dirt or grime from previous sealing efforts. This is often not an issue and water-based stripping efforts are very successful in most cases. If however, you need a complete restoration, most paver stripping will need to be performed with the use of a solvent based stripper. These more caustic products will usually remove all of the existing sealer and finish allowing for a complete paver restoration. Of couse no two paver floors are the same so sometimes paver stripping can be a n experimental effort when deciding which way to go.
