Saltillo Restoration

Many pavers are mistakenly referred to as Saltillo, Of course Saltillo pavers come from one place in Mexico and as luck would have it the name of that town is Saltillo. The small town’s mix of clay and curing process results in a yellowish paver with rose colored stripes and accents. If you have Saltillo pavers, you will eventually need restoration. Like other types of pavers, Saltillo pavers can be restored to suit your taste or decor. Stripping, Coloring, Staining and sealing can produce a beautiful Saltillo paver floor. Restoring Saltillo pavers requires patience and most of the most is performed by hand as the restoration of pavers can be detrimental to the soft paver surface if attempted with heavy restoration equipment that would be more suitable for other floor types.
