Travertine Refinishing

Travertine Refinishing is often not necessary for 3 to 5 years, however in high traffic areas such as kitchens, it may be required as frequently as 1 to 2 years. Without refinishing a travertine surface will wear as abrasive dirt, sand, grit and debris and swept across and worn into the surface. As the travertine surface becomes rougher it will appear dull or scratched and begin to hold dirt deeper, becoming more difficult to clean.
